AGM & Awards Evening 2025
The Packhorse Bowling and Social Club are pleased to announce the date for their Annual General Meeting.
​
The date will be Friday 4th April 2025 to discuss all areas for 2024 and going forward.
​
The current committee will be in attendence to deliver all the general points of business for the year 2024.
​
Only members who have signed up on or by the 14th March will be able to attend this meeting.
​
The AGM will be followed by a members open discussion for questions and feedback and then onto our annual awards presentation where we can celebrate our club acheivements in 2024.

Below are the new 'Temporary' winter opening hours - Previous times will be put back in place early 2025

Tuesday: 18:00 - 23:00
Wednesday: 18:00 - 00:00
Thursday: 18:00 - 22:00
Friday: 16:00 - 00:00
Saturday: 12:00 - 00:00
Sunday: 12:00 - 22:30
Bowls Club of the Year 2023
The Packhorse are delighted to announce that along with Penn Bowling Club, we have won the 2023 Bowls Club of the Year. The award was presented by Club Mirror at their annual awards evening for all clubs throughout the UK.

This is a fantastic achievement for all involved in taking the club to the next level.
​
Venue manager Dean Holmes and his wife Bethan were on hand at Athena in Leicester to pick up the award along with a certificate to mark the club being over 100 years old.

Playground Project
Up to now we have raised around the £1000 mark towards our target of £8000. Thank you so much for your donations for our huge community initiative. Fundraising is ongoing and would really appreciate any donation you could spare. By doing so you would be helping make your local community club become more child friendly and one more step towards our community objective.​
